Q1: Where is Usha Poultry and Fisheries located, and since when have you been operating?
We are based in Betul District, Madhya Pradesh, India, and have been actively operating as an integrated agricultural and livestock farm since 2013.
Q2: What is an integrated farming system, and how does your farm operate?
Our model interconnects poultry rearing, freshwater fish ponds, and crop cultivation. High-nitrogen poultry manure is converted into organic vermicompost for crop fields, while nutrient-rich pond water supports crop irrigation, minimizing waste and maximizing nutrient efficiency.
Q3: Can I visit the farm to see the setup or receive consultation?
Yes, but strictly by prior appointment. To protect our birds and fish stocks from external contamination, walk-in visits are not permitted. Please schedule your visit at least 48 hours in advance through phone or WhatsApp.
Products & Ordering
Q4: What products do you sell directly to farmers and buyers?
We supply poultry nutrition (pre-starter, starter, finisher), floating and sinking fish feed pellets, enriched vermicompost, poultry litter manure, and essential farm hardware (drinkers, feeders, pond nets, and testing gear).
Q5: Is there a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
- Accessories & Hardware: Available in single units or small retail sets.
- Feeds: Sold by the standard bag (typically 40 kg or 50 kg sacks), with discounted pricing for bulk or commercial farm quantities.
- Vermicompost & Manure: Available in standard retail bags as well as vehicle-load bulk quantities. Contact us on WhatsApp for custom quantity quotes.
Q6: How do I place an order?

Shipping, Delivery & Pickup
Q7: Do you provide farm-gate pickup or do you deliver?
We provide both options:
- Farm-Gate Pickup: You can inspect and collect your orders directly from our farm dispatch bay in Betul District.
- Transport Delivery: We dispatch orders via third-party freight carriers across Madhya Pradesh and neighboring regions. Courier services are used for lightweight hardware and accessories nationwide.
Q8: How long does delivery take?
Standard dispatch occurs within 24 to 48 hours after payment confirmation. Transit times generally range between 2 to 5 business days depending on your location and road transport connectivity.
Live Stock & Technical Advice
Q9: Do you sell live birds (chicks/ducks/quails) and fish fingerlings online?
Live stock availability depends on active brooding schedules and pond harvest cycles. Live stock inquiries cannot be placed via standard automated checkout—they require direct scheduling and arrangement via telephone or WhatsApp.
